Well,I guess I won't be getting rid of my micro compact anytime soon.
This is a sorry excuse for a sub-compact.

Looks like the grip chop guys were on the right track.

I guess they found that the .45 in a 3 inch barrel was not as much fun as they thought. Looks like a great plan for concealability. My 45 service prints a bit if you're really looking for it in my IWB. With a SLIGHTLY shorter grip like this one, it would be perfect. (This varies with shirt, beer consumption, etc, however.)

I agree. I guess for now, my Para 6.45 Carry model will have to do.

Personally, i like the idea....i'll have to go try one out. We've got the full, the compact, now all we need is a sub compact

If it's a .45ACP sub that you are needing/wanting..... I suggest a Glock G30. I bought one recently. It has a light/laser rail, holds 10+1 rounds and feels VERY, VERY (notice I said very) much like an XD sub. Up until holding it, I had never liked the feel of a Glock's grip. I own 7 Xd's so believe me, I am not merely trying to plug Glock. I do like the G30 though.

DAG BLAST IT, SPRINGFIELD! We didn't want a grip chop job... that can be done by ourselves. Give us a freakin' ACTUAL Sub-compact 45acp. Something to compete with the Taurus PT145 powerhouse. I hope you still have something up your sleves because otherwise I'm getting me a Taurus. What a dissapointment.
