30 round clip?

A buddy of mine told me he ordered a 30 round clip with his XD-45. I've looked around but I haven't seen one anywhere. Is he full of it or am I just not looking in the right spot?

Promag makes stuff like that. But their quality is very hit or miss. I've heard of very few that work reliably.

30 round mag

+1 on avoiding Pro-Mag. Lots of problems getting Sig 220 mags to work.

It's a Magazine. Not a clip. A clip holds ammo together before insertion into a magazine. A magazine holds ammo for feeding into a weapon.

He may have ordered a 30 round mag at the same time he ordered an XD-45, but I don't think the 30 round mag will be FOR the XD-45. Nobody I can find makes such an animal, but 30 round mags for an XD-9 can be found.

I havn't seen any 30 round magazines for the XD45acp yet, only .40 and 9mm. I'd steer away from promags at all costs. Unless you want your gun to malfunction 93% of the time.. in that case, go for it!

I don't know about a 30-round clip for an XD-45, but I have an 8-round clip...for an M1 Garand...and a 5-round clip...for a K98...

Grrrrr...

Sorry. Clip vs. magazine juxtaposition is a serious pet peeve for me.
