I put the first 300 rounds through my XD over the weekend and it was awesome. Although I put about 150 rounds of wolf ammo through it I had 1 jam with the wolf.

So I was wondering how many rounds you have through yours?

Did you notice anything wearing out the more rounds you put through it?

Do I need to change anything with it after a certain number of rounds?

Welcome Aboard Alien Agenda, On my 45 ACP service XD I have 5990 with many different ammo tyoe, both Factory and re-sale reloads, without a single failure or signs or ware.

somewhere around 500-600 rds so far and not a single failure. Most ammo shot has been blazer brass, but have shot Ranger 230gn +p and remington umc as well.

The only thing I'm wearing out is my range card. Need to laminate that thing.

Edit: Upped my total to 961 as of 11-2-06. Still zero problems--what a great pistol.

700 rounds of blazer brass and 200 rounds of UMC. just bought my 45 about a month ago.

300 so far. Bought my Tactical a few weeks ago. 200 of those rounds were American Eagle 230 gr. FMJ. The other 100 were WWB value pack 230 gr. FMJ. I got another WWB value pack ready to sling for this weekend.

about the only thing you need to change relatively early is Right about your first round you should probably STOP shooting WOLF ammo... I haven't heard a single good thing about WOLF and the ONE time I shot it It looked like somebody threw up in my barrel... ask just about anybody... no wolf...

I have 880 rounds through my XD.45acp.service all 230gr.jacketed reloads no problems.
