My Beretta 92fs is extremely accurate. I find the 9mm the be a very accurate round. The .45 is good too. It has alot more to do with the shooter than anything else. Both of those rounds are more accurate than I am.

Yeah, my xd9 is more accurate than I am... even in a ransom rest you may have around a 2" group, but its not a Match grade gun... so yes its probably more accurate than you can shoot... mine is...

I have a XD 9 service and a XD 45 Tactical. They are about dead even. If I had to say one over the other I would say the 9MM by a hair.

+1. I haven't reached the point where I can really push the limits of my XD, as in needing a match grade barrel to see a difference.

But one time when I had gotten my XD back from having my night sights installed it seemed like all of my shots were landing left of my aim, so I asked the rangemaster to shoot it for me.

No lie, he shot a whole magazine into a quarter sized group with one or two fliers. Hands it back to me and says, "Looks fine to me."

I need more range time because I haven't gotten there yet.

+1 Actually, all of my XD's seem to be similar in the accuracy department, though it takes a bit more effort with the subcompact. Get both!!

I've found the 9mm to be extremely accurate, at least as accurate as I would ever need it to be...
