XD 45 trigger pull

Anyone measured the trigger pull on their XD 45 Service? mine was 7.4 lbs
Far too heavy after my 1991A1.

Check out Springer Precision, a forum sponsor aka Loves2shoot. He did wonders with mine. I also understand Rich at Canyon Creek does a great trigger job. I agree with you, pull was too heavy, but also initial takeup was about a mile too long.

Get ready for the feel of a new pistol when it comes back. Amazing difference, at least to me.

Canyon Creek did a 4# carry trigger on my XD40 and XD45 and I couldn't be more pleased.

How much did your carry job cost for the 45? And is all you do send it off in a box?

trigger job costs

Trigger job by springer precision $100.00 + Shipping ( $49)
To send it fedex $51.82
call it $200
Note:
You can NOT send a Handgun by US Mail legally
Fedex requires you to send it Priority Overnight

UPS is about the same.

fedex guy

A bit of panic on his face until he knew that I knew how to do it. do your home work on their web site. you just can't drop it in the drop box it must be declared. For UPS or FEDEX you must go to a hub to do it. they have a special security protocol to follow. too many handguns have been "lost" in shipment.

My local gunsmith did the trigger on my XD45 Tactical. 4lbs & very crisp with a very good feeling re-set.
