Clip spring

Is it bad for the clip spring to keep it loaded all the time? Over time I would think that it wears out the spring, and you have to end up buying a new clip, which I would not like to do.

The spring in your magazine will not wear out from being loaded. It is the compression and decompression of magazine springs that wears them out. If your magazines fail to function properly, it is time to replace the magazine springs or the entire magazines. I have yet to see a problem with my mags and I've got a couple thousand rounds through them.

how many times can you use the word magazine in a sentence? Looks like 3 so far I'm glad I'm not the only one that has that reaction.
