What do you like best about the XD45?

What do you like best about your XD45?

What I like best about my Tactical is how when I reach for it to draw, my hand instantly has a perfect grip the first time. The gun fits my hand perfect!!

My XD 45 ACP service is a blast to do double taps at 7 yards. Onve I find the perfect holster (IWB) I will carry it a lot more for CCW.

Size…..I carried a Glock 21 for years and moved over to a Glock 31 cause the size was getting to me. Well when I saw the ads for the XD-45 Service, it really got my attention. Well ended up purchasing one. Waited a while to purchase cause I wanted a bio-tone. Well I got it and again I would say size #1.

It's hard to pick what I like about the XD.....it's mostly like they took a Glock and fixed all the things that bugged me.

Based on years of shooting the old military model 1911 I love the feel and balance of my XD 45 5 inch Tactical. First 5 shots were center mass with very little deviation with later shots. I am also pleased with the mild recoil, again compared to my experience with the old military model 1911.

1. The grip
2. The number of rounds
3. 5" barrel
3. After you fix what I don't like it's one heck of a pistol.

So much so that it is my 24/7 pistol, never thought I would say that about a plastic pistol!
