Tactical 45 Sorts Itself Out.
![]() I don't know if this picture will work, but today I sorted things out with my new XD45 Tactical. This is a target from 75 feet shooting from a standing position, slow fire about one round every 4 seconds. This target has about 60 rounds fired at it. Once I practice more I will get better with it as I get used to it. I had tried to move the rear site unsuccessfully. Now after beating the heck out of the pistol and smashing my thumb, I am glad she (rear sight) stayed put. |

I see nothing wrong with that many rounds in a pie plate, standing unsupported, from 75 feet. Good job.

These rounds were a combo of Blazer Brass 230gr FMJ and a few real hot defensive rounds from Double Tap. The Double Tap rounds were 185 gr GDHP @ 1225 FPS and 230 gr GDHP @ 1010 FPS. I also had a couple of Blackhills 230 gr Plus P.
I can't wait to shoot again next weekend! |
