I think it was on handgunforum.net and the thread title is:

Just Pulled The Trigger On A S.A. 3" Microcompact .45ACP

but he's talking about a different line, not the XD version.

We all know that the subbie of the XD-45 won't be here until sometime in 2007 (at least that's what SA told me via email on July 5, 2006):

SHUCKS!

It's obviously not a SA, but I already have a Kimber 3" .45 ACP that is a fantastic 'shooter' in every way. I don't need ANOTHER 1911.

My bet is they'll be working their azzes off to bring out a XD 45 Sub in 2007. They know the demand is already there.
