The SC rods are more of a problem because there are no known springs that can work in the dimensions available. That and any short barreled semi-auto has a limited range of operation.

The Tacticals models are an easier target, so have come to market sooner.

Nothing! If you put the guide rod on right.

I would prefer plain black sights with a serated front, other than that I am well content with the XD45 as delivered.

Mine fits well in my Galco holster made for the XD40.

PS - I wish some of you guys would stop wasting us bystanders' time by clogging up threads with name calling and the immature, pointless, and stupid posts. Personally I only came here to learn and talk about XD45s, I could give a **** if a couple of you can get along or not - How about taking the drivel to PMs? (Please DON'T answer that)

Don's Skinny Rod that is coming soon , will let you use common springs.

But I think there is a market for a spring manufacturer to make Fat springs for the stock rod. Either way, you're gonna love my rod.

Fridays drink: Gewürztraminer (that's a wine for you beer drinkers).
Looking forward to getting a rod for my XD45 service. Can you add me to your mailing list when they are available (rob_etzel at hotmail.com)

As to the drinking part, there just aint much else to do in Pullman is there!

I give the aftermarket 6 months to 1 year to catch up. It's a new gun.
