Ordered a Tactical Tailor holster

I just ordered a Modular Holster from these guys:

http://www.tacticaltailor.com/index....PROD&ProdID=46

They're going to make one for my XD .45ACP Tactical. Hopefully it turns out well.

It's very tacti-cool.

34 bucks, not bad. Now if only they made one for the ever so elusive TLR-2 compatible holster.

Anybody see a recurring theme with me on this damn TLR-2 holster?

Give them a call, they make their own holsters and may be able to accommodate you.

Just sent an email to them, hopefully they can do this for me.

I'd prefer leather, but at this point I'd be happy with the heavy canvas it looks like they use. And it's about 1/2 as much as the Blackwater one I was looking at, that is pretty much the same thing.

Update

I was able to talk to someone at Tactical Tailor today, and they told me that they have not been satisfied with any of their attempts in making a holster that will hold the light as well. The guy I spoke to suggested I go with a kydex rig....

So I guess inorder to get something that will work I'm gooing to need to do that until more support is out there for the XD45. One would think being the gun of the year, folks would be making things for it.

A Blade-Tech Rig for a XD with M6 should fit the TLR-2 as well. Can someone confirm this? I know that Blade-Tech has the M6 mold, not sure about the TLR-2.

I called Blade-Tech this afternoon to inquire about the elusive holster for the SA XD 45ACP Service & the TLR-2. They said they could make one up no problem for $89.95. I mentioned the searching that myself & others here on XD Talk have been going through trying to find one that meets this criteria, and they told me to pass it on. So here I am passing it on.....

I didn't order it yet, because I'm cheap and 90 bucks seems a bit high, but will likely be ordering one shortly.

I should have asked for a price break for the advertising.

Placed my order with Blade-Tech today, the confirmation says 6 weeks for delivery from order placement. They now have the XD 45 service on the drop down menu options, so you won't need to call in the order. The only minor thing is, & I admit it is minor is they don't have the Tek-Lok option...yet. I requested it in the comments of my order, I'll be happy with the 3 inch with shims, but Tek-Lok would be prefered.
