Want an XD45ACP? Try this method of getting the wife to say yes....it worked for me

I have been wanting one of these ever since Springfeild Armory announced they were going to make the XD45 ACP. In fact I purchased a box of ammo about a month ago and I didn't even have a 45ACP

. I was with the wife at lunch yesterday and told her I NEEDED one of those new XD 45ACP's. She asked why I NEEDED it and I told her because I have a box of ammo and no gun to put them in. She replied "We can't have that why don't you get a gun for that lonely box of ammo?"

My wife is the greatest!!!

Looking forward to test driving it this weekend. One of the nice benifits of living in Idaho is that we can go to the store and within 30 minutes walk out with a brand new hand gun.

Now it is time to shop for accessories

Congrats on the new toy! I too got my new XD 45 Tactical yesturday. I can't wait to get out to shoot it, but it will be long than this weekend because of the rain

I already had a Springfield GI 1911 so I already had the ammo, but convincing the wife was not as bad as I thought.

Mine was even easier (well so to speak). I just had the judge say I didn't have to be married to the *itch anymore, end of problem

My wife justs looks at me every time I come home from going to the range and asks "well?". To which I either respond that I didn't get anything else

or I got a ______

. Looks like there are a lot of us lucky enough to have wives that understand.

My 45 XD was a fairly easy sell, my new AR15 was greated by "You've got to be kidding me! You got an ASSUALT RIFLE????" I replied yes dear I guess I did.

Well it has been one of those weeks. I picked up a XD9 Ported V-10 today. My daughter and I went shooting all three of the XD's today.

Life is good!

Nice wife. If my wife doesn't go to the range with me, she counts the handguns before I leave. I am to have the same number when I return that I do when I leave.
