Please post pics of custom xd-45's, Robar, Bar-sto, etc
I am looking into an XD-45 but honestly think they look like crap. Not to mention the benefits of what the custom shops are offering seem to make the gun even better:
Smaller grip A grip that bits back beaver tail better trigger Please list your likes and dislikes with your custom gun, cost, turn around times. Thanks Anthony |

You think the XD45ACP looks like crap? I presume you think all XDs look like crap, since they all look the same.

Whats a good looking gun? A Glock? lol I personally like the way they look compared to many of todays pistols. I personally can't stand the look of Sigs, Glocks, and HKs. But that's just my opinion.
And what do you mean by smaller grip? People have chopped thier grips down, but I have never seen it done on a XD45. A grip that BITES back? You can use skateboard tape for that or have it stippled. Beaver tail? None availible, the frame is one solid piece. Better trigger? Pick your gunsmith Springer Precision or Canyon Creek both do awesome work and won't break the bank.

 Before you start 'dissing' (if I spelled that correctly) this particular gun, maybe you ought to go back and read some of the threads on here, such as this one. Quite a few people like this gun (to include the NRA and American Rifleman). Also, in case you hadn't heard, it was the 2006 Handgun of the Year. Go troll elsewhere... M2 |
