Just took delivery of an XD45 Service model. A trip to the range proves that it's just as accurate as everybody claims. Purchased from Whittaker Guns in Kentucky www.whittakerguns.com. Great price @ $503 with shipping and a third 13rnd mag.

Welcome to the group. I bought mine from Whittaker too, good folks to deal with. Think I paid around $490 total shipped, but I only got 2 mags, so you got a very nice deal

I just purchased my first XD on 9-11-06. It is a 45 tactical in bi-tone finish. After reading about a zillion articles praising this pistol, I had to get one.
