Just saying hello

Hey y'all (that's hello where I come from in Ky.)

Been lurking around for a while and decided to register and post so I wanted to say hi.

Bought a XD 45 service a couple of months ago, love it. I thought it'd make a good camping gun, no way I thought it'd conceal as well as my Glock 19 but I was wrong.

Bought a Comptac Gurkha IWB and was amazed. Conceals just as well and now I've got 14 rounds of .45acp plus one reload. I like it.

Bought some Truglo TFOs for it. Dropped it off at my gunstore of choice to have them installed and went back 2 days later. He handed me back the pistol and TFO's and said he couldn't do it, he couldn't get the rear sight to budge even with a sight tool. So I took them to a gunsmith friend of mine and he has it now. Really wanted it to shoot in the local IDPA match on Thursday but guess I'll have to use the 19.

Anyway, look forward to being on the board and getting to know you all.

Guy ain't got no balls. I replaced the sights on my XD9 and my XD45 with brass punches. It was a bitch but I got her done. It can be a painful experience.

Most businesses won't risk destroying the firearm (and thank the lord for that).

There are ways, like cold, heat, FORCE, etc that will get the job done...

Reguarding site installation!!!

There is 1 place&1place only that i think should be doing that because they are true professionals and have every available tool needed for installing different sites and further more they are the cheapest that you can find anywhere and have done 1000's of instalation's and that place if you have your own sites will do it for 15 dollars or if you buy your sites from them they do them for free...I paid 60.00 to have a set done which was done wrong then added 40 more to fix them from another place yet even they did them not accurate and then found this place and trust me they rock!!!!!!! xd-hs2000.com 205-966-8142 or 877-344-4048
