Stowing my sidearm
Hello everybody. I am a new member and a former Military LEO. I just picked up my XD45. (250 rounds-no problems.)
When stowing my sidearm I prefer to insert a full mag. with the slide forward and (consequently) without a round in the chamber. This has not been a problem with any of my other firearms. However, when I do this with the XD it seems to put quite alot of upward force on the slide. Does anyone know if this is harmful to this model of pistol? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Last edited by juniorr13; 08-12-2006 at 08:08 PM. |
