Hello everyone. New to the forum but have lurked around here reading the post for awile. I already have a .40 service with about 2000 rounds through it, and I just had to have the ACP after renting it at the range. So just bought the service (

) model and now begins the longest 10 days of my life

. Can't wait to get it to the range.

I need to head to the range myself to try out some new TruGlo TFO sights on my service model. You'll be pleasantly surprised at how well the .45 shoots, compared to your .40 But then, you already know that since you rented one... Anyway, enjoy!

I sure enjoy shooting and carrying my XD-45 Service.

You won't regret it. I have a .45ACP Service and love it. I've been shooting IPSC practice with it and so far it's performed great. I've found it easy to doubletap A zones with it even on the move. I can't wait to send it off for a trigger job and match sights.

Yeah. I can't belive how the ACP feels. It was love at first trigger pull

I have been breaking in my XD45ACP Service and I don't think I've ever found a better pistol! You'll love it!

I have the Tac but they both fell from the same tree. Great gun enjoy.

Good choice my fellow friend and Welcome to the XD forum. You will no regret your investment, I know haven’t and hang in there, before you know it you’ll be at the range.

Just got a 45ACP at the local gunshow for $499, took it shooting this very day...fantastic...

This is a nice pistol

Now about night sites...any ideas?
