Proud new owner of XD 45ACP
Hello all, I'm a proud new owner of an XD45 (which I pick up on Saturday, 'cos I live in CA). Anyway, since I'm new to a .45, can I also use .45auto ammo?
45 acp always seems to be sold out, but I see plenty of .45 auto available.

Just don't use 45 GAP or 45 Colt or 45 Long Colt.

U can use .45 super as well...just no colt gap or long colt

Thanks everyone for the help! I got the service model (all black). This 10 day waiting period business is for the birds... I want my new toy already!!!!

So now that you have your new 45, come out to ChinoHills @ Prado & shoot some IDPA w/ us. Any 45acp, 45auto ammo is fine as noted.
