Krylon

If a black melonite slide is scratched up or worn pretty good, why wouldn't this stuff be good for a do-it-yourself finish?

I'd sandblast it and put Gunkote or something similar on, but then I have a blast cabinet. Go for it!

Dont know how it would turn out on a pistol but i have used krylon on my AR several times, get bored and do a different paint scheme, goes on decent, stays on decent and comes of easily enough with brake cleaner, Here is a pic of my most recent Krylon "snakeskin" camo paint job.
