Brought home my new XD today

Well after a long delay after the gun shop basically lied tome and said they had the XD I wanted in stock when it was actually in a warehouse over1,500 miles away I finally got to bring home my new .45 compact.

This is going to be my home defense and primary carry weaponuntil I can add something smaller to my collection for EDC.

Off to the range this afternoon. We’ll see how the first range session goes.
