What is the best ammo to shoot out of an XD 45acp???
I am having some reall issues with my XD45. Shells keep jamming in the slide...or they won't pop out of the barrel...I never had any problems with my Colt Commander...the one I traded in to get my XD. But now after having shot only 400 or so rounds...and having over 12 malfunctions...I'm seriously thinking of going back to the reliable COLT.
Unless someone can tell me of some ammunition that does not lock up?
Also reading alot about this happening to other people as well...anyone givin' up on the XD yet?

What are you shooting with??? I have read(on this site), that some XD's are very picky about what you run through them. I have been using WWB, since I first bought it and have had no problems.
If it has happend with many different brands try giving SA a call, put some of that lifetime warranty to use  .

I use WWB, S&B, Remington in my XD .45 Eats it all up fast as I can buy it !!  No problems yet, if it continued to give problems I would definitely call SA.

check the top of this thread....the Winchester white box ammo from walmart is either not ejecting from the barrel or it catches in the slide.

The only thing I won't shoot through mine is Blazer Alum. We had some problems with that in my wife's SC9. I've shot Blazer Brass, WWB, Remington, Federals and another CCI brand I can't think of. No problems.
I had some Failure to Loads on Sunday. The more I think about it, the more it might have been me. I had shot a lot that day and my problems didn't start until the last 50 rounds. Think I might have been tired and started to limp wrist a little.
Just another reason (excuse) to go to the range.
