I've waited for this since the HS2K first arrived on this shore.

Just received my XD-45 ACP Service from Canyon Creek, but haven't had a chance to shoot it as of yet. Trigger work is something to behold. Maybe a 1/8" take-up with no over travel, and a 1/8" reset at 3 1/2 lbs (feels a little heavier than that). Smoooth! Rich does an admirable job on these guns. The Dawson carry FO's are brilliant and fast and I thank Scott for handling the transaction and shipping to Rich.
I had the seller ship directly to CC, so this is the first time I've laid hands on it.
Saturday will be a good day!

Glad you finally got it Frenchy!
Having a firearm paid for but not there to shoot had to have been hell, but I bet it was worth the wait. Let us know how your range visit goes.

Congratulations!

I've been to the range twice so far, with dramatic improvement on the second trip. I had never shot anything larger than my .22 in a handgun before, so I was flinching pretty bad..

Maybe I'll get one of those trigger jobs someday, people sure seem to like them. I salute your patience. Gawd that must have been the longest wait of your life!
