Serial number question
I purchased a new XD45 and noticed that there is a serial number on the barrel, the slide and the frame. Each serial number is different. Is this normal or should they all match.

Mine all match also. Looks like somebody did some part switching.

Same here, all matching #'s on all my XD's........something's not right and it could be your ass, I'd go back to the dealer and have him make it right or I'd report him to ATF.

The dealer probably disassembled two (or more) at the same time and they got switched. Hopefully they still have the other ones.

Oh just call me an idiot, those other numbers were the manufacture numbers. I just jumped to a conclusion too quick.
