Never tried to shoot a Wad Cutter in my XD-45. Don't know if it would feed. I shoot .451 200 gr SWC all the time & never had a problem.

Cast and reloaded 200 gr. rounded flat nose bullets for a few years, worked great in my xd45acp tac and my xdm 5.25 45acp.

if your just going to buy them, get a round nose or round nose flat point , 200 gr is a good all round for the 45, semi wadcutters will feed, and then they wont feed , depends on the gun,

Bought some to try out anyway.
265 gr West Coast WFNGC.

Have to load them super short to clear the lands like 1.14"
Will test some normal loads to see if they feed next week.

Also have some 250 gr RFN I have yet to shoot.

Tested some 225 gr TC HC in 45 super and they ran perfectly.

I would like to read about your results not only in the feeding but the accuracy. That bullet would make a good hiking round for the local black bear and nefarious two leg type critters.

I can get the Lee 200grLFP to run fine in my XDTAC, YMMV. The only way to know is load em & give it a try.

You don't become a better shooter unless you can shoot more & you don't shoot more unlesss you can do it for less.

I've shot thousands of these through my tactical (RNFP):
Missouri Bullet Company

I use 1.200" OAL, whatever primers are on sale/available, with either Bullseye or Unique propellant. Minimal leading, accurate, fast shipping and at the price they offered I rarely cast my own anymore.

Tested some 265 gr WFNGC and they fed fine. Got 750 out of power pistol in ACP brass at 1.14 COL.
