I'm with you. Traded my XD40 V10 in on a XD45 Tactical yesterday at the gun show. Took the XD45 to the range today just to break it in with 150 rounds and WOW, I'm very happy with it. My Glock 22 felt small after firing the XD45.

I'm sorry you had to get rid of your 1911 for an XD-45, because I still think the 1911 is the best pistol ever made.
Don't get me wrong, I love my XD but still only carry a 1911 Skygun9

i sold my dan wesson point man , i never got on to shooting it and after i shot a another shooters xd45acp i fell in love with the feel and grip, it just felt better in my hand for some reason owned the wesson for 2 yrs and never felt comfty with it as i do this xd in a few days, ?? i agree 1911 design are hard to beat, but wow i like this thing i fed it some of the loads the wesson would jam up on and had no problems with any load i reload feeding, the wesson hated SWC lead, the xd eats them up???
