if you want to improve your shooting skills , try this

Being in an area with few ranges and more expierenced shooters to learn good habits , i found myself shooting well then poorly then terribly. There was not consistancy to improve or stay even with no example to follow . Scanning thru another forum ,I saw a web site that was new to me www.backwoodshome.com/articles2ayoo85.html .. short but sweet imfo to a new guy like me from a master, Massad Ayoob. sorry if this is old news to some , but it immediatly improved my scores at 25 yds by 50%. As I said this is basics to some but to us more "underexposed" shooters it is great to learn by. buy the way my stance and grip helped my xd45 tac scores more than my 1911 SA. Xd 45 2 wks old , already outshoots my sweet SA , Thought this may help .. LOL

Great article. In fact, I recommend reading everything by Ayoob you can get your hands on. Books, magazine columns, etc.

In my opinion, his most important book is In The Gravest Extreme. You can get his books online through www.ayoob.com

I also like Gabe Suarez's books, and his Tactical Pistol Marksmanship is an excellent read.
