They went FAST. We started with thirty or so in stock, and they were gone within about fifteen minutes of my posting here.

Just ordered 2 13rd mags from Joes Pawn in Al. Cost $60.00 for both including shipping to AZ. Says they will go out tomorrow. They have a few in stock he said

While I can appreciate the posting(s) on this site, there is also the obvious risk of alienating some of your regular customers. I received my MidwayUSA Product Arrival Notification email regarding availability of these mags shortly before your original post. With my order still in Processing status, I can only hope that it got in before the stock was exhausted.

I recognize that inventory levels on items are subject to variation, however, it seems that recently I have ended up "farming out" some of my typical orders with MidwayUSA to Grafs, Natchez, Lock Stock and Barrel, and Starline due to "Out of Stock, Backorder OK" status. There is starting to be a level of frustration building...

Don't worry about processing status - as soon as you put items in your cart (and as long as you don't leave your browser open and unattended for a long time), we reserve the inventory to avoid overselling. Once in checkout, the inventory reserved for you stays with you.

I can certainly sympathize with the frustration at the out of stock issue - we're tweaking our ordering process even now to try to avoid that with the popular stuff, but we still end up getting rushed when the flyers/notices go out. The best way to avoid that sort of thing is to set up for email notice of the product's arrival and jump on them as soon as you get the mail - you'd be really shocked if you knew how fast those mails go out after we scan the products in.

Scott,

I received the automated invoice notice Sunday for these magazines. Does that mean they should have shipped, mail doesn't arrive until about noon. The 9MM mags I ordered Friday arrived on Tuesday.

They shipped yesterday. You should have them tomorrow or on Monday.
