Factory Trigger job

My friend just got his XD-45 back from the factory - he had them work on the trigger and add their glow fiber sights. There is only word to describe the trigger - FANTASTIC. The sights are good too, red front with two green dots in the rear, but that trigger - I couldn't stop dry firing it. We were going to shoot it today, but it's raining pretty hard and we put it off. I wish I could get my Glock triggers to come even close to the feel of the XD. I've tried.

What was the turn around time for that work? I'm thinking about adding either FO or Tritium sights to my Service at some point and might get the trigger job while it's being mod'ed.
Thanks!
Jack

Yes, I'm sure others would be interested in the cost of the trigger work ( just reset travel or change pull weight too) and tritium fiber optics as well.

He said cost was $215, turn around time was less than 2 weeks. He went the factory route because of not wanting to have any questions come up about the warranty.

I believe $215 was the total cost. We're supposed to go shooting today, I want to try out that trigger. I'll ask him again. He offered to sell me the gun - he's over 70 and is on the "new gun every two weeks program".

Wow - these guns shoot good. I asked him and it was $215 for the trigger job and their fiber optic sights. We both liked the Tru-glo's on my Glock better, but the Springfield sights are very useable - just not as bright.
