Has anyone seen an XD-45ACP Tactical Bi-Tone in the wild yet? I keep looking, but nobody has them... I'm tired of hearing "Coming Soon!" I want one now!

Springfield has a part number in their 2006 catalog, but how long is it going to be before I can actually buy one?!?

Hooz, I have looked all over Columbus for a bi-tone XD40 tactical. I think bi-tone tacticals don't exist in columbus. If you find any in .40sw or even 9mm. Let me know. Andy

According to the latest Springfield catalog, the only bi-tone tacticals they make are the 45s (GAP and ACP). No 9s and no 40s

There seems to be a general lack of tacticals on the market right now. I even started looking for an OD XD-9 Tac... No love.

I have a back ground on my computer is a bi-tone XD40 I got off of the springfield website. So that's what made me belive they were making them. I guess I will have to give Springfield a call. I guess I could always just have one hard chromed? I'll let you know if I find anything. Andy

You were right. They only make the bi-tone tactical in 45 gap and 45 acp. I questioned the gun used in the wallpaper section and they said that it was a pieced together gun. So really that's false advertisement. So I guess I will look around for a .40 tac and do everything to it myself. That sucks. Oh well. The lady told me that the tac. .45 bi-tone will me out in a couple months. One more thing, Vance's has new XD45 tacticals for $509. I'm not a big fan of Vance'sbut that's a decent price. Andy

You could always buy a blue model and have the slide chromed, it only costs $80 at Tripp Research.
