Combat Handguns Review

Wow! What a write up on the ACP. The June Issue article written by Charlie Cutshaw is impressive. Of course after owning a Service Model .40S&W
I knew the ACP would be a winner but these guys are almost willing to trade int heir 1911's for it. Nice write up, if ya get a chance it is well worth the read.

Seems like every gun rag out there has nothing but positives to say about the XD-45 ACP. I realize some may be biased, but it seems to me the comments in the rags are legitimate. I mean, if it were a piece of crap I'm sure they would report on it being so.

Some will say that SA pays for the publicity. I think the rags needs something to write about and the XD45ACP is worth of the ink and paper.

I agree, While I have never seen them write a "This gun sucks article" I have seen them write a less than glowing report. I read the magizine it's self, I'll try to find a link to it online.

The article will not be posted online for awhile. It would hurt magazine sales. Here is the CH website that shows the cover. I also find the little bit in the upper right corner interesting, given the trend to lighten the XD trigger...

I used to subscribe to CH and still think they are a credible source. Most of the guns I see I like, so it's not surprising to me that most articles are positive. Heck, I'd buy at least one of each, if I could!

I work with a lot of trade/media folks and most of the time any special interest magazine won't even look at your product unless you pay them a nice sum.

Yeah, Springfield is likely paying them a lot of cash, but you know what, Glock, Sig, HK, S&W and everyone else is too...
