New Owner, Range Report, Holster Question - Thanks All!
Been lurking here for a couple of weeks, made my first post this week, bought a 4" Service for $489 at the big whinermaker show on Sunday. Picked it up today (instant check was down - figures).

WOW!!

So I've posted the First 50 range report to the appropriate forum... 'sall good. Thanks to all of you for your insights - you made this an easy decision.

Now to get some night sights and maybe a decent holster - I heard the provided holster could be hard on the finish, but I don't remember where. Anyone experienced any accelerated wear due to the Springfield holster? Heck, anyone use that holster?

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the XD45! I don't think many people use the provided XD holster, unless maybe at the range, but that's about it.

Run a search on this forum for holster, you'll find lots on this topic.

I know I have not used mine not even at the range, but I guess it never hurts to have a back up.
