Nighsights for XD45 ACP?!?!?!
I've contacted a couple of vendors who either
a. Don't have "confirmation" of a solution (Trijicon) or b. A solution that people are using, but isn't official... Who sells nightsights that are approved for the XD45 ACP (4").. OR who has something installed that is working for them (even if not officially "blessed" by the manufacturer) and where.. oh where.. can I buy them? Seriously, as a businessman, I cannot fathom a group of people waiting to hand me their money if I can give them the product.... not like the XD snuck up on anybody, it's been on every gun magazine! |

All Major aftermarket sight companys usually have sights for the XD. ALL XD's take the same size sight, there is no differance. I usually buy Meprolight night sights, To me they are the best. Others on this board seem to like th Tru Glow TFO's, I have never used them but alot of members on here have them and love them. I to have a XD-45 and I was thinking about night sights for her, But it shoot so well the way it is that I am affraid if I have them changed I will lose my good sight picture

I TOTALLY agree with the fear of changing the sight picture. My first time to the range with the XD45, and I shot much, much better than with my Glock that i've been shooting for a while. |

Well for one he was asking about night sights and they are. As far as being the same as the stock ones not hardly. The stock have a whole lot of light between the post when lined up with the back, the eight's have less.

The meprolight ML-10110 will work on the xd 45. They are both #8 in height and are slightly shorter than the stockers. The change was welcome to me as it did away with the 6 o clock sight picture. It is now a POA at 25yrds I.E. if you want the center of the bull you put the center of the bull on top the front sight. No more bottom of the black to get the center.
