I read in a post earlier what you did for the lettering and just thought you should know it looks great. I'm waiting on a bi-tone but don't know if there is anything that will stand out as nice as yours does. Many years ago I did something in gold coloring on a Ruger Security Six. Again nice touch.

Someone else here on the forum used the Birchwood Casey Gold inlay on their XD45 (sorry, forgot who that was), so I gave it a try. Looks pretty good, easy to remove and re-do when the time comes. If you've got several XDs, it helps identify them real quick

i used white grease pencil in all my lettering.. and then wipped all the excess off w/ a rag that had some "grease cleaner" on it.. and then after i was done wipping off the excess i took a lighter and heated up the grease in the lettering to make it melt further in and more even... it looks pretty badass..VERY noticable now.. if i had a bi-tone.. i would use black grease pencils... that would stand out and look great to..
