Still another favorable Canyon Creek trigger job review?

And how! I usually take things with a grain of salt, but I read so many great reviews about Canyon Creek, I sent in my brand new .45ACP Tactical for a 4 pound trigger job. First, I was astounded at the fast turn around. Then, the first pull of the trigger was almost a religous experience. There is a much reduced but still palpable takeup followed by a smooth break with no overtravel. With a much snappier reset, it's going to be awesome to get out to the range.

This is the third trigger job I've ordered for my XDs. The first two were both by the Springfield Custom Shop. The competition trigger is excellent; I was very pleased. The carry is a different story. I naturally wanted to compare the Canyon Creek with it. Where the Springfield 4 pound trigger is concerned...don't bother. It is lighter, but that's about it.

My advice is to skip the Custom Shop and go straight to Canyon Creek.

Plus 1 for Canyon Creek. Rich performed his 4# carry magic on both my XD40 Service and XD45ACP. A world of difference. The only person IMHO who should be touching an XD trigger.

It'll cost you $170 total, including shipping. If you live next door to Rich, it's $135.
