I already have a poly hi cap .45 - a Kimber Pro BP-10. I love the ergonomics of this pistol! I've only had it to the range a couple times, but I already love it. I got rid of a Glock 21 for it, and I never go back to Glock. However, I have always liked the style of the XD line, I've just been waiting for a .45ACP. I aldready have 2 Commander sized .45's. I guess I just need to shoot one of these new XD45's to see if I need yet another.

Get it. One of the best guns I've owned. Think about it; a .45 that holds 14, is pretty compact, decently priced, lifetime warranty, and will eat about anything. Oh yea, and it's accurate as (beep). Puts the glock 21 to shame.

+1, what jettubby said. I compared it to my SA 1911 Lwt Loaded Champion... sold the 1911. The XD was almost as accurate and holds almost twice the rounds, with a very similar grip feel.... easy choice

If you shoot it, you better have room to take it home with you....and don't forget your plastic when you do go. You will love it.

I have the Hi-cap Kimber also that I like a lot. There is less gun above you’re hand on the Kimber, plus the slide is thinner. Problem is I have had a few FTF with the Kimber. Have you had any problems? I will probably end up getting both.
