which glock is closest to XD .45 in size

i've found the perfect holster for me and my new .45
but Galco doesn't make it for our guns...

i read a couple of places that holsters for a glock will fit the XD, but i don't know which model, not familiar with glocks at all...

870 you're everywhere!

There are many variations of that holster if you look around. Now whether they will fit an XD is another story. Personally, I prefer something that better distributes the weight such as a Tucker IWB Answer or Texas Heritage but that's just me. As an old cop once told me, "hoslters are like girdles. It's a very personal relationship."

That holster was originally designed by Bruce Nelson some 30 years ago and called it the summer special. Milt Sparks has rights to the "Summer Special". The design is a true classic and has been copied by almost evey holster maker, including Galco.

My Galco silhouette and Miami Classic Shoulder System for the XD fit both my XD 45 and Glock 22 perfectly.
