XD Service - Range Report w/pic (former G30 user)

I went to the range Saturday and the gun was perfect. Chewed the 10 ring out of a B27 with the first mag. And I wasn't even trying to get the best group the gun could do, just having a little fun after having not shot for over 3 years. It's not as accurate as a fully tuned & tweaked Colt Gold Cup National Match, but for $500 it's a sweet shooter. It is as accurate as my G30 was. Once I stopped shooting for fun and started going for tightest possible groups, the groups stayed under 1.5". Most of them were one-holers measuring 1" across or less. Shooting & double-tapping with both eyes open also produced very enjoyable results.

Great shooting! How about running that target out to 15 yds. and posting the results?
