and yet another range report, but i noticed something

thanks to my son, we are now the owners of two SA XD .45 acp's in service style, and after a two day wait through our neighborhood gun shop, god how 48 hours can seem like eternity, we put them through the paces this afternoon... GREAT!!! it's a keeper for sure...

the .45 has less kick/flip whatever than my XD .40 SC and i know that the .45 frame has more meat to it, but it's more of a push back on recoil than a sharp recoil...

i did notice tho that my SA XL tactical light does not fit as snug on the .45 as it did on the .40 and tends to wiggle a bit even when locked down... wondering if others noticed this?

also, after owning both, and i'm not the first to mention this, if SA came out with a .45 sub-compact, i'd be all over like like a hungry man at a free buffet...

Can't help with the Tac light, but I do agree if/when the XD45ACPSC comes out, I'm all over that too And I find the same thing as you, comparing the XD45 to the XD40SC..
