Sloppy Trigger

I have about 200 rounds through an XD45 and I find that the trigger is sloppy for my taste (about 1/8th of an inch of rough travel at the end of the pull) Are there any do it yourself directions out there on a quick trigger job? I am sure I could figure it out, but if someone has documented it already, I would love to take advantage of it…

Thanks,
Fritz

Welcome to the forum. There was a post recently showing some trigger bar mods. Maybe some one will remember the thread title. Canyon Creek does excellent trigger jobs to remove the take up and reset distances as well as lightening the pull weight. If you decide to go that way contact Rich at www.canyon-creek.com . SA also does factory trigger work by the custom shop.
I might add, that after you run 1000-2000 rounds through it, the muscle memory will kick in and you won't notice it. Doing some double tap drills and dry fire drills will help.

Canyon Creek and your problem is solved. Rich did an outstanding job on my XD45ACP trigger. I opted for the 4# carry and I've never looked back. He also worked on my XD40 Service, same excellent results.
