Sight Picture - 6 O'Clock, POA...

My XDACP requires a POA sight picture as opposed to the 6 O'clock sight picture of my old XD40. After about 800 rds, it isn't a problem at all - I may even prefer this now. Does anybody know why SA changed this on the XDACP? Also, if I change the sights, would they be like my ACP or 40, i.e. did SA change the grooves on the slide or did the change the sight appliances.

Thanks
J

In my experience with my XD40 service I shoot POA out to about 7 yards or so. By the time I am shooting 15 yards I have to switch to 6:00. If I recall correctly the manual says different guns may shoot somewhat differently in this regard. Probabaly also varies somewhat with ammo.
