Magazine springs
Anyone experience weak mag springs?
One of my XD 45ACP mags seems to have a weak spring. After firing two round the weapon jammed, upon examination the rounds were nose down in the magazine, and I could shake the rounds out of the magazine! My other two mags function fine. Anyone else have similar mag problems? |

Yes, there was an earlier thread about this from another forum member. Looks like a QC problem with their mag springs. Thankfully, it doesn't seem to be that common, but does occur.
http://www.hs2000talk.com/viewtopic.php?t=32534 I'm sure SA will replace your mag. Let us know what they say.

My XD .45ACP mag springs are so tight that after attempting to load a mag, I soon became THANKFUL to Springfield for including the mag loader. My 9mm XD mags have given me no problems either.
