New XD45 and New Member
Hi Everyone,
I've been lurking and reading about the XD45 since it was announced and read every post here. I went to a gunshow and traded for a new XD45. I've had a Glock 23 for awhile and shoot it alot. I also use it as my carry weapon until.... I shot my new XD45 yesterday and I can honestly say that I have a new favorite weapon. I still love my G23, but this XD45 is sweet. I fed 200 rds of WWB 230gr. and it ate every one with no issues. I ran 20 Winchester 185 gr. through it and it loved every one of those. No problems at all, not that I expected any... Anyway..I a PROUD XD45 owner now and I encourage everyone to get theirs.

Welcome to the XD45ACP forum! I'll bet you found the .45 shoots better than the G23, just because of less muzzle flip from the .45 as compared to the .40S&W round. At least that's what I, and many others, have found.
Glad you had a good time at the range, as most do The fan base just keeps growing....and growing... and growing...

Thanks for the welcome..
My G23 is a "c" model so the muzzle rize is about the same, which is awesome since the .45 round is bigger. The XD45 recoil is more of a push and it less "snappy" as the .40 round. All in all...a very sweet pistol.
