Ive shot a lot of 230 ball reloads with 4.5gr titegroup. About 750 fps, they shoot real well, about like most of the bargain ball ammo. They were left over from a friends 625 he had. When I load some more up I will probably bump the charge a little to get 830fps for the equivilant of "hardball" ammo.

Ive also ran some H&G 130 lead 185gr SWC with 3.9gr of VV310 that did well also. Very soft recoil and probably a little borderline with the factory recoil spring. They did function 100%.

Ive got some Zero 185jhp and Nosler 185jhp I plan to try as soon as I empty some more brass

I have been reloading 230gr JHP from Zero, Speer Gold Dots and Hornady XTR over 6.2-6.8 gr. Ramshot True-Blue. Very clean and single digit Standard Deviations.

Lock at the Ammo Can for a lot of different loads. Seems Titegroup and Bullseye are common powders. I use the Ramshot powders for all my reloading since it is so clean and meters excellently through a Dillon 550 and 650 powder measure/press. The true blue is used for my 45 Colt, 45 ACP, 38 spec., and 9mm.
