1st Range Report

Took my brand new XD out of the box. 1st shot in the 5X! I used 230 gr. CCI Blazer. Is it me or is that stuff crappy? I still did OK though. Could use a little more practice. LOL!

I've heard some folks don't really care for CCI, maybe just a step above Wolf ammo So, change to somthing else, like WWB or Federal, etc. and give those a try for several 100rnds, see how you like those.

I use mainly WWB, and yes, even some Wolf, haven't had a problem with either.

CCI Blazer has always functioned just fine in my .45s, but it tends to be innacurate. Check the other recent post on here where somebody tested their XD45 on a ransom rest with various ammo, the CCI was the least accurate.

No youre not loosing it. read this http://www.hs2000talk.com/viewtopic.php?t=31784

I had good results with several 230gr factory loads but the CCI really stood out not being accurate in my XD45.
