Being new to a XD 45 compact
Having been a Contender and Encore nut for nearly 30 years. Is it possible to have a 45 slide replace by the 40 slide to have the ability to have barrels in 40s&w and 357sig? or twist my arm and get a XD 40?

Never mind found some info back in 2008 files apprears to be a no go
