Finally Shot the new XD

First round of 12 (never shoot 13) and a group of 3 1/2 inches or so at 10 meters. I'm happy with it, matter of fact the very first shot from this weapon was an orange! I consider that a sign of some kind. I turned around to my wife, all grins and said YES, this is a keeper!

The first shot is at 6 oclock, in the orange. The others are the rest of the first magazine, EVER.

Of course the Weapon. Love it!

Shot mine for the first time as well today. Not sure what color since the snap suprised me. After 150 rounds I was happy as well. Seems to shoot a little low, but probably my poor shooting skills and not the gun.....

I assumed after so many visits, (10 or so and about 600-1,000 sucessfully fired rounds,) to the range I would adjust to my xdsc recoil and my shots would eventually home in towards the center mass of the target. I am getting more accurate but my shot groupings are still loose and sporatic when rapid firing my with xdsc9mm, which is something I plan on working on at 50 feet, though it would be niceer to have a single red dot or something similar to shoot at rather than a multi ringed circle, to simplyy things I guess.

Oh and happy first xd shooting launchpad. ^.^

I'm having a bit trouble grouping with the XD9SC but my XD45 groups well. I guess I can't compare the SC to the full size in term of accuracy. My XD9SC is my only pistol that has the shortest barrel, it's hard to be accurate at that barrel length. I probably need more practice.
