you made a good choice , its my favorite one i own, sub compact you dont have a lot of choice and the ones avalable to me arent to great, is the 45 xd goin to be your carry gun?

I love my XD45C and I am sure your going to love yours as well. It's a near perfect handgun. After the mods I had done to mine the only thing left is to put a set of Crimson Trace grips on it... or maybe save some more money and by the XD9MM Tactical for the range. I suggest you start buying ammo now.

yeah it's gonna be my carry piece.

i'd like to get something a little smaller down the line though for summer. i figure i can carry it during the summer though if its the same as this past one was (we didn't have a SINGLE day over 90)

i need to find good sites online to buy some hollow points. i know the major sites like ammunitiontogo and midwayusa, but idk of any small name ones.

guys suggest any that have great prices?

I just took my new XD45c to the range today and had a great time. Squeezed off a hundred rounds and the kick was light, trigger was sweet and it felt so good in my hand I couldn't believe how much better it was than the pistols I have fired before. I am also glad I got the one without the thumb safety, those are silly on this pistol IMHO.
I threw in some old flat point Hornady rounds my dad had lying around an it didn't like feeding those very well but not one hiccup while using 230gr JHP reloads.
No doubt this one's a keeper. An excellent first pistol.

yeah i'm excited. me and my buddy got into a pissing contest over compact pistols lol

he just recently bought a used M&P9c for 400. came with i believe 6 mags. 3 10 round and 3 12.

well i think his pistol is nice but i don't like the feel so i keep giving him crap.

haha i told him how much i paid for mine and he was like "yeah well i got a better deal." My response was "Yeah well mine is brand new, has 3 mags, and is a .45" he then responded with a "HOLY SH*T!!!! you're getting a compact .45 that holds 14 rounds?!?!?!"

lol that made my night. idk why he just then caught on that it was a .45acp. i've told him at least 5 times i was buying a .45

I got two 50 round boxes of 230gr JHP reloads from cheaperthandirt for $40.
Fired them all off today with no issues.

Correction, notable muzzle flash, but it was range practice, so,...

yeah i have shot wolf 45 and it always gives a bigger muzzle flash i suppose the russian powder they use is crappy or something slower burning i suppose and gives yu a flash longer , sounds like yu need to pick up reloading supplies and start fillin your own

Here is a good site for Winchester Ranger T series, $24.99 per 50rnd box, or you can buy by the case. Get on their email list, they have free shipping specials every few months. You don't need to be an LEO to buy from them.
