XD 45 ACP Tactical 5"

Hey guys....

The range I shoot at has an XD 45ACP 5" available for sale....NIB. They want $595 for it, but may well do a little dickering, although don't quote me on this as I have nothing to do with pricing!

That price of $595 seems on the high side. I got mine NIB for $500 including internet transfer through Davidsons, before tax. On the other hand, perhaps that is standard pricing for your area.

I hope that whoever gets this tac enjoys it as much as I enjoy mine!

Shaner, if you like full-sized 45 acps (such as 1911, SIG 220), you'll probably like the extra barrel length. I have not shot the service 45 acp yet, but I shoot the xd-9 tac better than the xd-9 service. I find that I can get back on target quicker with the longer barrel. In terms of general accuracy, from the posts I've read, others have found that they shoot the service better, so YMMV. I think you'll enjoy the XD platform in any barrel length - it seems that the XD and the 45 acp were made for each other!

ive got all lengths of the 9mm's 3.4.and 5,
yes i like the full size 1911 which i have also , so i figure the 5 will fill in good, with the others , just need to pool up the cash now, and find one locally ,

I don't disagree on the price....if I were interested I would see if they would dicker a little, especially if you can quote some sources where they have been cheaper in the past....although you might hear them say to go and buy it there!

Seriously, I never buy at the price I am initially quoted unless it is something I really want.....otherwise that is what the internet is for...finding better deals. But hey, do they want this thing sitting around, or do they want a quick profit??
