I've never heard of jams from Hollows with the XD

I shoot a lot of FMJ 230's, Remington Hollows, Frangible 155's, Winchester, Wolf, and reloads - No issues here, I even use expanded mags with 16 round
capacity with no problems.

I put some Federal HP's through mine to make sure it could take the HP's, and then loaded the mags with Gold Dots...

I have shot Winchester JHP's and Hornady's hollow points, and neither have given me any trouble. If memory serves me correctly I read somewhere else (might have been here) that the hydroshock's were giving many people problems with it loading. Find a good personal protection ammunition that shoots well in your gun, and stick with it. I have 2 magazines full of hollow points for when hell breaks loose or zombies come.

I haven't shot a lot of HP out of my XD-45 service due to cost,[perhaps one mag]] but I keep my main mag loaded with hydra-shok, so I will take a handful to the range on Sat and ensure they feed properly.

I shot Corbon hollow points thru mine and it worked fine. The DPX and the standard 165 gr. HP's.
