Thanks all, weel change of plan the tactical is not goin to springfield, I picked up a new XDM .40 today instead, cant wait to shoot it.

That's combat accurate and that is good enough. Across the typical room in your house, you can pick which eye the bullet goes through if an intruder takes a family member hostage.

For the naysayers...15 yards (3 shots because I know when to quit, and thats 45 Super) Tore the target taking it down, the last shot busted it...loosely tacked to a tree.

I don't want to be on the other side of you! I'm hoping my yet to arrive 45 Tactical will shoot that well! Hopefully find out in the next few days!

Although 5 yards isn't even close to the standard for accuracy demonstration (either 50 feet or 75 feet), a one-hole group is something to behold.

That said, I'd like to think that I could produce such with any of my handguns.

ETA: I'll except the Ruger LCP. That one would be a challenge.

Well, I do all my handgun shooting at 17 yards so I don't have any pics closer than that, but here are a couple. These aren't exceptional and should be repeatable on demand. It was just my first time out with each of these gun and I thought I'd snap a shot afterward.

I'm not suffering from any delusions of grandeur in thinking that my shooting is at a professional level, but while your pic shows a darn fine group, with a little practice, most folks ought to be able to produce a group similar to that at 5 yards. Again, it IS a fine group!

This one is an even 100 rounds. I choked on a few shots from the last couple of mags.

Also, if that's a whole magazine (13 rounds), it's much better than "pretty good" shooting. I was under the impression it was a 5-shot group or thereabouts.

No, I doubt I could easily produce a 13-round group like yours at 15 feet.
